Why Teaching?    

    I realized early on that I wanted to find a job where I could fuse my passion for biology and chemistry with my love of helping people; and as it turned out teaching became the perfect fit.

Hobbies?
    When I'm not making fun discoveries, writing lesson plans, papers I can usually be found reading a book, hanging out with friends, or exploring outside.  My absolute favorite pass time is going out and exploring tide pools for hours and trying to identify as many species as I can.
